Senior Minister - Rebecca S.M. Sundquist

Rev. Rebecca Sundquist, or Becky, began her ministry with us in September 2010. She previously served as the Associate Minister of First Christian Church in Springfield, Illinois. She received her B.A. in Religious Studies (Cum Laude) from Hiram College (Hiram, OH). She went to seminary at the Theological School of Drew University (Madison, NJ) where she received her M.Div. (Summa Cum Laude). Becky has been doing ongoing research in the areas of Young Adult and Family Ministries. She also continuously investigates ministries to those in the Golden Years of their lives. She is committed to justice and ministry to "the least and last of these". Becky enjoys gardening, cooking, reading, and most importantly, spending time with her family.

Becky is married to Steve Sundquist, non-profit manager, guitar player, woodworker, and overall great guy. Steve and Becky have two children, Linnea and Olivia. Along with serving God, their children are the lights of their lives. The Sundquist's also have two Golden Retrievers, Bailey and Cassidy.

Minister of calling - Charles M. Babcock

Chuck is a retired minister since 1998. He served as Senior Minister here at South Side from 1973 to 1983. He and Burnell have been married for 52 years and have three children, Jessica, Bruce and Linda. They also have seven grandchildren.

During the spring, summer and early fall, they are here in Kokomo. In the winter they reside in Arizona.
